Hi Rich,
I have the same problem on a system (bl20p g3) at a Italy customer.
I receave the messages "805 Unsupported processor" and im not able to flash bios in any manner.

Did you have solve the problem??

i did, i updated the ILo firmware before i could update the firmware on the blade i belive, it took me a while to solve it, and i cant remember exactly how i did it, but if you have any problems drop me an email to rich@hextable.kent.sch.uk as i tend not to check this forum!
