Black screen system hangs
Have a situation where we are getting unexpected shutdowns and a black screen. Very similar to this: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=PSD_EM020215_CW01.
However, agents are up to date. Any ideas where to look. The server is a DL-760 with six processors 4 GB memory and a RILOE card.

Re: Black screen system hangs
The shutdown is as in the CA. The system doesn't even register an event other than an unexpected shutdown. Apparently this started happening in late 2003. It happens once every four to six months. The team that was here before could not figure it out either.
I think it's the system board or the RILOE. But there was a suggestion it could be the stepping level of the processors.

Re: Black screen system hangs
Update: System agents to 7.20, check Survey.txt report for stepping if necessary. Check RILOE Firmware.
