Blade 5i cache accelerator temp disabled

Found a fix for this and wanted to post it out. Problem is with 5i cache accelerator in a BL25p/G1 having status of temp disabled and battery status is recharging. Accelerator remains permanantly in this state and never recharges (gave it a week powered on and no change). Fix is to remove hard drive and power server on allowing it to fully post. Power off, reinsert drives and power server on. Problem is resolved immediately.

Works 90% of the time. Also found updating the controller fw works. Last thing I do is replace the board itself.

Firmware fixes battery errors most of the time. I believe the current version is 2.68 - this fixed battery problems on several of my servers.
