Blade Computing How-to
Can anyone provide me with a source for documentation as to best practices in blade computing and how to consolidate our existing IT environment into a blade environment?
We currently run Windows 2000 in a terminal services environment, Red Hat Linux, and HP-UX 11.0. We intent to migrate to Windows server 2003 next year.

Re: Blade Computing How-to
Hi Ron,
If you are using proliant servers now you could easily put them on proliant blades:
You could check this link:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/blades/components/p-class-catalog.html
it is just a starting point for HP blades...
Regards,
Gideon

Re: Blade Computing How-to
I'm curious as to how blade computing works in an non-HPC environment. I am very familiar with Beowulf-type clusters, so how would our situation differ? Thanks!
