Blade Interconnects

Is the only difference between Proliant BL p-class C-GbE2 interconnect kit and the F-GbE2 interconnect kit the plug in modules? If so can I assume that they are interchangable.

Re: Blade Interconnects

You can connect either one plug-in Module in to switch; however function is different
You might want to take a look for more info

Re: Blade Interconnects

Thanks for the reply. What I ment to ask was I have a customer that has the fiber modules, and they now want to run copper. Can I just sell them the copper modueles, or do they need the whole switch?

Re: Blade Interconnects

The switches are identical. When we first started with blades, we ended up with F-GbE2 but needed copper. We obtanined copper modules and they work fine.
