Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000001E
Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000006, 0x77F92F6A, 0x00000000, 0x77FEBBA4)) on a DL760 G2. Bios is at P44-09/15/2004 and the 6400 array controller was at fw rev. 2.32 at the time of the crashes ( 4 in the past month and a half). Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? How do I decipher these warnings when they appear?
Thanks in advance,
Jason

Re: Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000001E
It could be something writing outside its legal memory boundaries into an area of memory occupied by another application. One thing you could try is to enable the Special Pool feature to hopefully identify the source of the BSOD.
See:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/188831/EN-US/
on how to enable this.
"The source of pool damage can now be identified at the instruction causing the pool damage. A new memory management utility called Special Pool is included with Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 (SP4), Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003. The Special Pool utility identifies the kernel-mode component that is damaging pool data by writing to memory outside its allocated area."
Good luck!

Re: Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000001E
I don't know if this has something to do with your problem but you might want to upgrade your SA6400 ROM to ver. 2.34A to avoid another possible error/issue.
