Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x000000D1 DL380 G5

I am running Windows 2003 server R2 on a proliant DL380 G5. Recently the server has started to Blue Screen and reboot itself. This is very intermittent and can happen once a week or as often as twice a day. This server is running a business critical app so this is obviously a massive inconvience. I have tried updating to psp 7.9 but it fails when installing the NIC driver. I have played around with different NIC drivers in an attempt to resolve the problem and am currently running on 3.4.10.0 for NC373i this seemed to stabilise things for a while but has not fixed the problem. The entry in the HP Log is as follows: Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000054, 0xD0000002, 0x00000001, 0xF610D984). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Shayne,

You can try updating the array controller driver as it had a known issue causing BSOD.

Hello Shayne,
Refer:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/890554
There is a HOTFIX available;

Quoting Microsoft > "These symptoms occur when the computer is under a heavy load. For example, you may experience these symptoms when you copy large files from a remote share when the server is under a heavy load"

Have you noticed, if this happens while Backup is running remotely ??

James.

What is the current status of the server is PSP 7.90 installed if yes install the Driver version 2.8 which is supposed to be the most stable version and has resolved all issues related to Network drivers from the link below.
