Blue Screen Trap
We are currently running an IIS on a ML370 HP Proliant server and I've just configured the System Management Agents. From the logs, it shows that following messages repeatedly:
1. Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0x804EEFF7, 0x00000001, 0x0000003C))
2. ASR Detected by System ROM
The server is running Windows 2000 5.00.2195 Service Pack 3.
Previously we had upgraded it to Service Pack, after we had had several IIS failures and fro the Microsoft knowledge base, the error could be fixed by upgrading to service pack 4, but the application we are running on it is incompatible with service pack and have had to downgrade. Please assist in sorting this out, as I now don't know whether this is due to the IIS failure or these errors.

Re: Blue Screen Trap
STOP: 0x0000001E error may relate to hardware or software problem.
Make sure you have last server firmware (server BIOS and SmartArray firmware if you use SmartArray controller)
Boot from SmartStart CD and run full server diagnostics.
If you have spare memory you can try to replace memory modules (or if you have spare identical ML370 server you can swap disks between servers) - in such way you can eliminate if problem relates to hardware or software.
Which ML370 generation you have (G1, G2,...)?
What System Management Agents version you installed? Did you install whole Proliant support pack? Why your application not compatible with sp4 (maybe application can run on sp4 with minor changes?) sp4 of windows 2000 fix many problems....
