Boot Array Restored from Image Backup
I'm trying to move my boot partition to a Smart Array 6402/128 array installed in a Prolian ML 370. The boot partition is/was working fine in this same server and I installed the SA 6402 controller, adding the required drivers. Afterwards, I made an image of the boot partition and have restored it to a new array on the SA 6402. I have set the array controller as the boot controller, but I'm just getting a generic "A disk read error occurred" when trying to boot. I can boot to the imaging utility CD and see the array partition; it's designated as the C drive and is marked as a boot parition.
Am I attempting something that's not supported or is there a way to do this without having to reinstall the OS on the new array?
Other particulars:
Windows 2003 Std R2
V2i Protector Imaging S/W
Thanks for any help.
