Boot error 1610- Temperature Violation
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what this error can mean, is this a powersupply problem or simply a defective fan. We trying to remotely mange the server but can't get it to boot up, it just keeps on giving this error message after the 2 processors initiatize.
1610 -Temperature Violation Detected
Waiting 5 Minutes for system to cool.......
We only have access through the Rib insight board.
Can some one tell me if some hardware device needs to be replaced.
Thank You
Max

Re: Boot error 1610- Temperature Violation
you probably have a fan failure in the system..this isnt the power supply as it would come up saying power supply failure...
