Boot from Crucial SSD. HP ML110G7

Hi.  I have an ML110G7 running Win7 Pro SP3.   I've cloned the OS to a crucial MX500 SSD card, but it hangs at the post screen.     I read somewhere else that the solution is to install a bootloader like Grub to an SD card, but I can't find that forum or thread any more, so I'm not sure if that's worth pursuing or if there is a simpler answer.

Any suggestions that may help resolve this problem would be appreciated.

Many thanks,  Alan.

Re: Boot from Crucial SSD. HP ML110G7

Ho Alan,

As per the ML 110 G7 server QuickSpecs & HPE OS support metrix  Win7 Pro SP3 OS is not supported.

As per the server modal, we dont have much details about crucial MX500 SSD card.

I would requist you to please log a case with respective vendor or OS support team for any further assistance in this Reported issue. because as per the server modal, i have not seen any known issue.

Please feel free to log case with HPE support team for any further assistance from hardware end.
