Boot on RAID1 in Drive Cage B
I'm using Proliant 3000 300MHz with a SMART-2SL Controller.
In Drive Cage B I've installed a RAID1 (Array A) with W2K. Then i've installed
a RAID5 in Cage A. The configuration Menu changed automatically the RAID1 to Array B and RAID5 to Array A.
Now i can't boot W2K from RAID1 (Array B). Where can i change the boot path?

Re: Boot on RAID1 in Drive Cage B
What kind of error do you receive? Is it a blue screen talking about the NTLDR (not sure on wording). Chances are the boot.ini file is not pointing to the right drive anymore. If thats it, try this article from microsoft and see if it helps: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;318728

Re: Boot on RAID1 in Drive Cage B
I didn't make a note of this failure. But it was not the NTLDR-Failure.
In the meantime i changed the disks between the both drive Cages. Now i have RAID1 in Cage A and RAID5 in Cage B. It works.
Maybe it is not possible to boot from Cage B with this Controller?

Re: Boot on RAID1 in Drive Cage B
It's an issue with the firmware, are you running the latest? check here:
