Boot to floppy/CD

Hello all,

I have a DL380 with the 5i array controller an a bad windows driver (ntfs.sys). Windows won't boot, even into safe mode, with this bad driver. I tried to use the Windows server 2003 CD to boot and repair, but it is not pulling up the right data (even loading the driver with F6). How can I setup a bootable floppy/CD to load the Array driver at startup so I can get to the C:drive?

Thanks,
Tom T.

Re: Boot to floppy/CD

The driver has to be extracted into a floppy drive. When it prompts to press F6 to load the driver it will look for the driver only from a Floppy, it could be a usb external floppy or a internal floppy.

Just in case this is the 5i running windows server 2003

or select the OS:
