Booting DL385 G5 From External USB DVD Drive

Hi i have a DL385 server, it doesn't have embedded CD ROM drive. Will i be able to use external Usb CD ROM drive to boot the server for OS installation.

Do i need to make any settings. Drive is non hp drive. It is of Sony
