Build an additional 3rd SATA RAID 1 disk for cold standby

Dear all,
I tried to build a 3rd disk with SuSE SLES 9 x86_64 on DL320 G3 SATA RAID 1, but later found my mirror pair corrupted and the last one lost its RAID configure.
Has anyone done this before?
BTW, is there a sata raid HP reference manual on DL320 G3?

Hi Rocl,

Your question is not very clear, do you mean that you are trying to add one additional disk to a RAID 1 volume? if yes, it's impossible, in RAID 1 you can only have 2 disks ( or even no. of disks if you have 1+0 or 10 configuration).
