CD ROM not accessible

We were given a Prosignia VS and a Prosignia 300. Both have 2 SCSI drives and a SCSI CD drive. Under Control Panel->System->Device Manager, both show yellow triangles on the SCSI contoller and say that the device is not working properly or that the drivers are not installed (or something like that). The CD drive is not accessible in either computer. Are there new drivers to download? Will the mother board accept IDE drives?
