CIM memory check

I have two different server platforms a, 'ML370 G3' and 'DL360 G5'. When I look at the System Management Homepage(https://localhost:2381) for the ML370, I can see an issue with one of my memory modules. Looking under 'Home -> System ->Memory Subsystem', following the 'System Board' link, I can see:
6 Degraded DIMM 512 MB Synchronous

When I run the hpdiag.exe to generate survey.xml for this system, I do not see any errors generated corresponding to this error.

When I log into the 'HP Insight Diagnostics' page (https://localhost:2381/hpdiags/hpdiagstart.php) on the ML370 system and view the memory subsection from the drop down, I only see the following:
-----------------------------------------------
Board 0
DIMM 1 ( DDR ) 256 Mbytes (266 MHz)
DIMM 2 ( DDR ) 256 Mbytes (266 MHz)
DIMM 3 ( DDR ) 256 Mbytes (266 MHz)
DIMM 4 ( DDR ) 256 Mbytes (266 MHz)
DIMM 5 ( DDR ) 512 Mbytes (266 MHz)
DIMM 6 ( DDR ) 512 Mbytes (266 MHz)
ECC memory installed Yes
Hardware PAE enabled No
Dual Channel Memory Mode Enabled Not Supported
-----------------------------------------------

When I log into this my DL360 system and view the memory subsection, I see:
-----------------------------------------------
Board 0
DIMM 1A ( DDR2-FBD ) 512 Mbytes (667 MHz)
DIMM 2C Not Installed
DIMM 3A ( DDR2-FBD ) 512 Mbytes (667 MHz)

My questions are: Why is this information showing up on one system and not another? Does SPD need to be on my ML370 system to get this information? How would the Systems Management Homepage be able to detect this issue when the other hpdiag is not?

Both seem to be running the same driver and utilities version. Any thoughts, comments, ideas, or answers would be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: CIM memory check

Your results are due to different technologies in the hardware. The G3 is using DDR memory and the G5 is using Fully Buffered DIMMs.

Re: CIM memory check

Thanks that answers part of my question. But without the technology how does the 'System Management Homepage' recognize that I have a degraded memory module on the system without the technology?
