CISCO GESM Switches + Blade Enclosure Inquiry (Static IP Bay Config)

Hello,

I just recently refreshed some hardware in my lab and I currently have 2 enclosures set up in the same rack.

Top enclosure consists of blades + the new CISCO GESM blade switches

Bottom enclosure consists of blades + the p-Class GbE2 switches.

All blades are at iLO FW 1.75, FW of the management modules on both enclosures are at 2.10

I want to have all my iLO IP addresses static, the Static IP Bay Configuration settigns are present in my enclosure with teh GbE2 switches but are not present with my cisco switches.

Does anyone know why?

when I browse into an iLO of one of the blades in the enclosure with the Cisco Switches, basically you should see a menu for Static IP Bay Configuration settigns, its in the same menu as RackView or BladeSystem Wizard but i dont' see it.

Can anyone help? Is there a workaround to this or an update soon?

Much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes,

This seems to be an issue for me also.

Is this a known issue and is there a fix?

The Enclusure is running 2.20 and my blades are running Ilo 1.82

Any input into how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

I am also having the same issue here with Enclosure and Cisco switches. I do have two other enclosures with the Cisco switches that are working correctly though. I have update the firmware on the ILO and the enclosure to the latest 1.82 and 2.20 respectively.

Just for curiosity, had anyone of you tried to:
1. Swap CISCO with GBE2 between Enclosures and see if that make difference.
2. Swap management module including power and signal backplane
3. Try to use only management link from Power supply to enclosure where CISCO installed
4. If some of you will try step 3, disconnect power from Enclosure physically 1 minute or so
G L along Darren and Steve use 1.82, can you make iLO 1.80 test it firstly and after for power 2.20
