CMOS battery

Everytime I shut my Proliant 3000 down my CMOS looses all of it's settings. I thought it was just the battery but it shows 3.29 volts, under load. Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: CMOS battery

Hi,

The battery should remain live when shutdown if losing configuration the board for the battery must be replaced.
Depending upon the speed of your processor you need the following:

System I/O Board with Tray (PCI/ISA), (400, 450, and 500 MHz) 179779-001
System I/O Board with Tray (PCI/ISA), (550 MHz only) 146937-001
System I/O Board with Tray (PCI/ISA), (600 MHz only) 155347-001
