CMOS parameters Proliant 1600
Is there a utility similar to CONREP (Configuration Replication Utility for Proliant ML and DL servers) that will unload the CMOS parameters on a Proliant 1600 into a text file? I would just like a record of the parameters in the inevitable case that the CMOS battery fails. Thanks in advance.

Re: CMOS parameters Proliant 1600
Yes you can use the System configuration utility; and save you file to floppy;
Sp19619.exe
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/13227.html
Download and extract then run the .exe file ; and that will create image on 4 floppy disks.
boot the server with that utility; it is like the bios for the server; select
system configurations; then configure hardware; will load plug and play and detect hardware; then you can save the configuations to the floppy.
Hope this helps.
