Re: CPQPHP Error on ML570

Hi Roman,

In ML570 if errors relating to CPQPHP come up in event logs its due to the server is attempting to hibernate, the PCI Hot plug filter driver actually prevents this from happening , to resolve this just cold boot the server and there is no need to update the drivers.

Re: CPQPHP Error on ML570

Was this server installed with an image taken from another type of server? This is likely the cause of this problem.

If this is a G1 then the only pci hotplug slots out of the slots indicated are slots 5 and 6. 7 and 8 are not hotplug. 7 is 32bit, 33mhz and slot 8 is a proprietary type slot for the standard peripheral board. If this is a G2, then the slots are going to be different, but the same issue still applies.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: CPQPHP Error on ML570

You might not find survey.txt - not a part of 2003 and PSP 7.x

HP Online Diagnostic Report for windows

http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22903.html

Verify if you can enable disable Hot Plug function for PCI Slot without any crush and see if there any logs
For more and safe action see page 164 ...

Re: CPQPHP Error on ML570

Hi,

Few things are these things there
1) The switch "/PAE" is enabled in BOOT.INI.
2) 64-Bit Physical Addressing is enabled with Bus Type set to "8."
Dont implement these option just tell me it is there or not.
3) Is this error message occuring a particular time or process.
4) Time and frequency of the error message.

Solutions :

Is that possible to update the BIOS
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/20_3990.html
and
Please remove 2 GB of memory from the system ( It sound a stupid solution i sugest give it a try) and check again.

Re: CPQPHP Error on ML570

Wrong page, assumption was G1 ML570

See Hot Plug procedures somewhere around Pages ~ 55 and LED around ~ 115
http://docs.hp.com/en/223958-005/223958-005.pdf

Regarding survey I was under impression that is no longer supplied with Latest Smart Start CD and PSP
