CPU at 100% when network traffic is high
DL560 with NC7781 NICs teamed for total 2Gbps on Windows 2008. When network traffic gets up around 300Mbps, one of the cpu cores is pegged at 100%. I believe it's the handling of the network traffic that is maxing out one of the cpu cores.
Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas of settings that might help with this?

Re: CPU at 100% when network traffic is high
hi,
in you r case i would disable teaming, yes of course you will loose the failover on the nics, and connect only one nic and monitor the traffic.
