CPU temps
Hi,
Anyone have a DL320 (1.13Gz) and the following odd temp range:
CPU 37C and System Board 22C.
Is the CPU supposed to run this hot?
Have adequate cooling.
thanks
P.S. Anyone know where the thermal sensor is located for the System board?

Re: CPU temps
Hi,
An update:
Removed heatsink ... removed existing heatsink paste...applied new paste. results:
CPU 29C, Sys 19C.
The difference between heatsink compounds should not be so much. Looks as if the Compaq paste is not as good as the offshelf ones.. Compaq, any comments?
thanks.
P.S. heatsink looks like its a copper one. The paste removed is of a dry soft compound (like gum) and easily removed.
