CPU upgrade
I have an Proliant 800 PII and i want to upgrade to an 550 PIII.
Can i just swap cpu's ore do i need to install an other power module ?

no there are multiple different versions of the proliant 800 but each level of processor (from ppro..to pII to PIII) requires a different ssytem board...it wont work the way you intend..it will give you an unsupported processor message
