Can I add and Intel NIC to the HP Network Utility?

I have a DL360G2 with the 2 onboard 10/100 Compaq NICs. I've added an Intel Pro/1000MT NIC and want to manage it and setup a failover team with the 2 10/100 NICs. Anyone know how to get the Intel NIC listed in the HP Network utility?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Can I add and Intel NIC to the HP Network Utility?

Hi James;

In order for NIC teaming and fail-over to work properly, all the NICs in the team need to be using the same Network card driver.

Your current configuration will not support adding an Intel NIC into the mix.

Hope that helps,

Janine

Instead of using the HP Network Utility, use the Intel nic utility to do the failover. It is able to see both nics, the only criteria it has is that one of the nics has to be intel.
