Can I run two SA6402's in my ML370 G4 for Tape Backup?
external SCSI tape backup only to find that I cannot use either of the external SCSI ports since both internal ports are used running my RAID 5. No what?
a)Get the Expansion module to make it a SA6404?
b)Use my spare 6400 (SA6402)
If b) the can I run both SA402's next to each other and what pitfalls should I watch out for?
I think the 2 batteries on the spare 6400 is shot, is it an issue as a secondary SCSI card dedicated to my Tape Backup?
Any help and advice is appreciated! Itching to start using the Tape Backup.

If you had a free external port, you would still be out of luck.
The HP recommended/sold scsi card as the "Dual Channel Ultra320 SCSI HBA", which is really just an LSI card.

but cannot find it on HP?
Does anyone know this card and will it work well in my ML370 G4 with Sony Tape Backup?
Thanks!

Re: Can I run two SA6402's in my ML370 G4 for Tape Backup?
But noone can say 100% that it will work with your Sony drive, since HP will only qualify HP tape drives with their servers.
I have used 100GB Sony drives with many HP servers without issue however.
