Can't detect 4mm 12/24Gb DAT tape drive

Although the DAT drive is detected by SCSI on boot-up, when I try to configure the drive, Windows says it can't find it!

are you trying to get NT to detect it or are you using the compaq scsi drivers for it?

Re: Can't detect 4mm 12/24Gb DAT tape drive

Hi

I'm having the same thing here , we switched from a proliant 2500 to a proliant ML350 .
The System does not recognize the DAT ( a Compaq SDT 9000 ) , no matter what drivers we use ( Compaq , sony , Veritas , Microsoft ) .
In fact we can't assign the driver to the device because NT does not locate any tape device .
What is the meaning of the jumpers on the back of the device ?
How should we install it ( what channel should we put it ? )

thx
Dries
