Can't find the NIC driver for Netware 5.1
Hello
I have a ML330 Server running NW5.1. I have been having problems with the NIC losing connection so I wanted to download the latest driver. I downloaded the installation .nlm at this address:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/21551.html
I ran through the installation which stated the driver had been installed, rebooted as requested.. but I can't find the resulting .LAN anywhere on the server. Very frustrating...Thanks for the help

Re: Can't find the NIC driver for Netware 5.1
Hi,
If this is a ML330 G1 server (Up to 1Ghz), the NIC is a Fast Ethernet model which is located on the Server Feature Board. You need the following driver kit in this case.
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/20201.html
Please try this and see if it resolves your problem.
Regards,
Brian

Re: Can't find the NIC driver for Netware 5.1
I downloaded the file to my PC. The Q57.lan file that comes with it is older then the one I have currently for the NIC. Which .lan file. SHould I be copy/pasting the contents of the update inot the sys\system\drivers directory?
Thanks
