Can't get XP Pro to recognize dual CPU on ProLiant 1600.

I thought I had it working fine, but then I ran CPU-Z and it only found one CPU. Windows own performance monitor only showed one CPU.

The computer type in Device Manager says Standard PC.

I've tried reinstalling XP using F5 when it says to hit F6 to install a 3rd party drive controller, selecting ACPI or MPS multiprocessor system does not work.

The setup goes up to the text mode screen where it says Setup is starting Windows at the bottom then stops. No error message, it just stops doing anything.

This one formerly had Free BSD on it, installed on the array, working with both CPUs.

I installed XP Pro on a 20gig IDE drive.

It coul be tat XP is not compatible with the System Bus..

XP is not a server OS meaning it has most of the kernel functions for servers deactivated.
