Can't seem to make proliant 800 recognize 512MB of RAM
Is there a bios update out there that will allow my Proliant 800 to use 512MB of RAM? I have looked all over and can't seem to find it myself.

Re: Can't seem to make proliant 800 recognize 512MB of RAM
Will:
Pentium Pro models - All Standard memory is EDO, ECC unbuffered DIMMs.
Pentium II & III modulus - All Standard memory must be ECC SDRAM DIMMs.
The system will automatically recognize the additional memory.
It is not necessary to run System Configuration.
Note: Use only 32MB, 64MB, 128MB or 256MB 100 MHz Registered SDRAM DIMMs.
Check the Quickspecs of your server, for more information about the supported memory modules (part numbers):
Pentium II models:

Pentium III models:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/10539_na/10539_na.html#Memory
There is no need to do a BIOS update but just in case here it is:
