Cannot access ILO-2 on my DL160-G5
I just purchased a used DL360-G5 for hobby use from Ebay. It runs fine, but apparently its ILO-2 is not set up for DHCP, I cannot determine the network address it is set to and when booting the system give me no opportunity to get into the RSBU.
I see tantalizing mentions of an ILO-override switch for many HP platforms, but can find no such switch on my mainboard.
I am running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on the box. For reasons unknown, the hp-health package will not install (error: not supported), so I have not been able to install the Debian hponcfg utility.
Anyone have any advice for how I might proceed to getting into my ILO?
Thanks,
Greg

Re: Cannot access ILO-2 on my DL160-G5
Hello,
Is this a DL160 G5 or DL360 G5?
DL160 G5 does not have iLO but has Lights Out 100i.
Click here to see how to use Lights Out 100i. (Refer to page#10 for configuration)
DL360 G5 has iLO 2.
Click here to access DL360 G5 Maintenance and Service Guide. (Refer to page#76 for System maintenance switch)
Thank You!
I am a HP employee

Re: Cannot access ILO-2 on my DL160-G5
This is, indeed, a DL160. No wonder my web searches were coming up empty.
I will look over the docs tonight and see if they will help me get going.
Thanks,
Greg
