I cannot access Proliant DL380 G5 San Storage Server (ILO / Dameware / ping)

Can i just the power and restart box without it affecting the SAN?

What do you mean by a SAN storage server? Is it the server that runs the SAN management software or provides storage to other servers?

It is the Server that runs the San Managment Software. It is an EVA 4000

Usually referred to as SAN storage management console. You should be able to turn this off without affecting the disk array. This server maintains a LAN connection and it is a client to SAN storage management server.

Yes. You may have to restart the SAN management client when the server comes up.
