Cannot activate the SCSI adapter configuration utility

I have read manuals on LSI (Symbios) adapter embedded into Compaq 3000 and it says one should do Ctrl+C to activate the utility on the machine bootup. In fact, it does not.
The difficulty here may be that we have got Compaq ARRAY controller installed as well enpowered with the same chips by LSI. Should not it be a problem for them to coexist on the same machine, should it ?
If so, how can I make use of the embedded one ?

To further develop my question :
Is the SDMS BIOS Configuration Utility by LSI Logic AT ALL loaded into the Flash BIOS of the OEM version of LSI2280x SCSI controller embedded into Compaq 3000 server's motherboard ?

A prompt answer would be highly appreciated, thanks.
