Cannot boot Proliant 3000
Just installed a new sys board and on first boot afterwards, one of the 3 raid 5 disks failed. I tell it to do the drive recovery at boot, but I cant boot from either the hdds, smartstart, or floppy!
Both CD and floppy start to boot but system just hangs.
The drive led is flashing as though its rebuilding ok. Do I have to wait until its rebuilt before I can boot?
Surely not...
Any ideas?
Mark...

Re: Cannot boot Proliant 3000
Dear Mark,
Due to this being a new system board, try to clear NVRAM. Use switch number 6 of SW1 on the system board.
One thing you can try is to remove all PCI boards and then try and boot. Maybe you have a bad bus on the system board.
