Cannot do a parallel install of Win2k on a ML370 G2, with Dynamic Disk
Over the weekend I believe we got hit with a virus and one of our servers went down with the ntoskrnl.exe missing or corrupt. I'm trying to do a parellel install, but when running setup, it will not let me install anything becasue it tells me that the disk does not contain a file system that Windows 2000 can write to. I ahve even added another disk, but it keeps trying to write some info to the first disk. We are using Raid mirroring on this system. Any ideas?
Or any other ideas on how to access the OS? I've tried a boot disk, but get the same error. I believe our antivirus renamed the file and I cannot get into it to load a new one.
Thanks a lot.
Zak

Have you tried using the recovery console?

Yup. Tried replacing the file with the one on the install CD, and no luck. Currently running a chkdsk with the repair option set. We'll see if that works.
Thanks,
Zak
