Cannot get into BIOS??
Hi everyone,
I have a Compaq Proliant 1850R here and I want to get it to boot from a floppy or CD-R. I need to get into the BIOS and change the boot order.
Pressing F10 at startup does not get me into the BIOS, and neither does F1, F2, F8, Del or Cntrl+Del.
Currently the OS on it is Windows 2003 server, which is not the original OS on this machine. I understand this may be part of the problem of why I cannot get into the BIOS.
Now, what can I do to bypass this problem? Thank you

Re: Cannot get into BIOS??
BIOS on Proliant 1850R located on system partition of the disk.
If for some reason you don't have system partition (for example you installed server without SmartStart) you can boot from SmartStart 5.50 CD and run system configuration utility or boot from Compaq System Configuration Utility diskettes:
HP SmartStart CD 5.50

Compaq System Configuration Utility - four diskettes

Probably you will need take out server system drives (C:\ partition) in order to boot server from CD/floppy
