Cannot install HP Intel NIC drivers in proliant ML 110 G2

Hello,
I install a second ethernet card (NC110T)in a Proliant ML110 G2 with windows 2003.

But when i try the HP configuration utility (version 8.70 and 8.80) to make a team with the onboard intel card; I discover that the utility only shows the NC110T and not the embebed adapter.

I discover that the embebed adapter was using the intel driver that came with windows2003, so i try to upgrade the driver to the HP version (package name winemlan-8.0.57) with no succes.

All runs fine, but the driver remains the same, so it dont appear in the hp network configuration utility.

I try to unistall the intel driver and to forc e the hp driver with no success.

Any idea???

thanks in advance.

Carlos

Re: Cannot install HP Intel NIC drivers in proliant ML 110 G2

Hello Carlos,

The only reason I see is because ML110 G2 has Intel 82541PI network card, which is not an Multifunction NIC Card. As per NCU guidelines, NICs which does not support iSCSI, TOE, or RSS, ARE IGNORED.

Unless someone else has a better idea.
;)

Only a question, does anybody have a team in wich one of the adapters are show as Intel adapter, not hp ncxxxx?
