Cannot install HP NC series 1gb multifunction driver for windows

Trying to update the nic driver to the latest version on a BL465C g5 with onboard NC373 nics and mezzanine NC382m nics. The following error occurs on the latest version:
The installation procedure did not complete successfully. An error occurred during the setup process.

You may look at the setup log file for more details if desired.

Additional Information:
Not all of the files required for installation were installed.


I've tried a couple of different version but the same error appears everytime. The current version on the server is 4.4.21.0 and so I've tried updating to 4.6.16.0 first as described in the article id c01684544 But the same error occurs. Has anyone seen this before?

You need to update the firmware of the NIC.

We are running the latest firmware for all nics already.

Resolved.

Rename/delete the existing c:\cpqsystem folder from the server which contained an old nic driver which prevented further nic driver updates.

Rename c:\cqpsystem folder
