Cannot install Windows Server 2008 Standard x32 on old Proliant ML150 G2 (no disk drives detected)

During OS clean install (booted from original DVD) at the point of choosing where to install the OS, there are no disk drives detected (RAID1, 2x148GB).

I tried to use [Load Drivers] from USB key and used all the HP drivers I could find, but none of them worked - still disk drive(s) are not visible and I cannot continue the installation of the OS.

I found lot of posts and solutions on similar problems, but none specifically for the old ML150 G2. I tried some of them, but it didn't worked.

Is there an existing (and working) Adaptec Embedded SATA RAID driver for Windows 2008 x32 for Proliant ML150 G2?

Any experience and/or advise is more than welcomed! I am desperate and prepared to try anything!

Hi Dimitar,

windows 2008 is not supported offically on ML150 G2 server.

the driver that you are looking for is
HP ProLiant ML150 G2 Embedded SATA Controller Windows Driver for Windows

try these two drivers:

windows 2003 32 bits driver has done the trick.
