Re: Cannot login to iLO - DL380 G5
Okay..I`ve tried this
So when I run HPONCFG utility it gives me the error attached in the screen shot.
When I click continue, it goes ahead but doesnt saves changes. For example, if I click add user, put in details of new user and click apply. I get above mentioned error screen. Press continue, it wouldnt save the changes.
Do I need to make any configurations to make this work?
many thanks

Re: Cannot login to iLO - DL380 G5
Sorry, I haven't run across that error before. Are you sure the iLO driver is loaded?

Re: Cannot login to iLO - DL380 G5
It is indeed - yes.
but any how, its all good now. Luckily a colleague was dropping by client side, so i asked them to look for iLO password on physical server and relay it to me. All seems good now.
I signed up for 60 day trial license for iLO, in order to be able to configure remote power on / power off feature. I`ve received email from hp saying registeration is done and everything. Still cant see the license anywhere.
Do you have any tips on that please?
many thanks

Re: Cannot login to iLO - DL380 G5
Log in to ILO, go to Administration - Licensing & that page should tell you what state the ILO is in with respect to type of license installed.
