Cannot mount a file system in a MSA500 G2 disk array
I have installed a couple of Compaq DL380 Proliant G5 servers in a disk array MSA500 G2. An "ext3" file system was created and regularly mounted using heartbeat on one of the cluster's server. After a reboot the file system cannot be mounted by the heartbeat anymore and a "bad block" error message is displayed... I tried to mount the fs manually, but the same error message was displayed. I wonder if someone in the forum knows if it's possible to rebuild/restore the file system thru the MSA500-G2 front panel?
Regards,
MV

Re: Cannot mount a file system in a MSA500 G2 disk array
The MSA's front panel could be used to rebuild/restore the file system.
It is used to check the status of the MSA.

Re: Cannot mount a file system in a MSA500 G2 disk array
Does anybody knows if using the "ACU" CD, the "ext3 fs" can be recovered without destroying the remaining data which still exists in the fs?
