Changing memory clock speed on DL380 G7
Hey there! I'm trying to tune my server, but I'm stuck with memory. There are 12 units of 8GB 1333mhz memory modules inside, but the highest speed the RBSU allows me to set is 1066mhz. Do I need to enable something else before this or it just doesn't support 1333mhz?

First of all, you have to look at how many MHz the processor works, since it is the one that sends RAM memories to how much they have to work.

Re: Changing memory clock speed on DL380 G7
It supports 800/1066/1333mhz on DDR3, so i don't think the processor is the problem here.

I'm not sure, so I should take a look and get information, but I think that using so many RAM modules, it makes the MHz go down and you can not make the most of it. But it's an assumption of mine that I think I've read some time ago.

What information do you need? Here's the ark site about the processor: https://ark.intel.com/products/52577/Intel-Xeon-Processor-X5675-12M-Cache-3-06-GHz-6-40-GT-s-Intel-QPI-

Look at the information in the memory section of the quickspec, starts on page 40

You can also use the HPE Memeory configurator

Re: Changing memory clock speed on DL380 G7
I've reinstalled the DIMMs according to the memory configurator, but i still don't get the option to change to 1333mhz in RBSU.
