Changing the existing Logical Drive Stripe Size and RAID type one by one ?
Hi All,
My predecessor has made some mistake in the planning and the deployment of the large backup server which has caused the backup process to runs very slow.
So now my goal here is to reconfigure everything to the Veeam Backup Best practice. But I can only allowed to do it manually partition by partition not destroying the whole production backup.
- How can I change the existing Logical Drives RAID type from RAID50 and RAID6 into just RAID 5 ?
- Regarding the Stripe / Full Strip Size, how can I change it to use the largest value possible ?
Note: I'm running on Windows Server 2008 R2.
Any help and suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Best regards,
