I am creating spare parts for numerous BL, DL and ML machines, and I have this dilema of choosing between RoHS parts with "Original" and "Modified" status from the partsurfer site.
Is there a big difference between these two types? And how do I know what should I be choosing between them?
TIA!

Solution
RoHS parts is parts, that less enviromental unfreindly.
There's some laws aboute that.
From a functional point of view, there's no difference.
If RoHS is original, the RoHS part was used in manufatoring.
If it is modified, non-RoHS was used during manufatoring.
If you choose RoHS all the way, then you are on the safe side.
It is allowed to replace non-RoHS to RoHS.
It is not allowed to replace RoHS to non-RoHS.

Re: Choosing the correct spare part
It depends upon what countries the servers reside in and the laws involved.
Functionality-wise there should be no difference.
