Clear the Event log entry (shown in Integrated Management Display)

How can I clear the events log entry (that are stored in the NVRAM, I think) and shown in the Integrated Management Display. I had 5 events that are not useful and I want to erase them all...
I'm looking for a clue that help me to clear it without installing Windows 2000 or any other OS except Linux (already working...)

Any suggestion is good :-)

Additional info about server:
Server Compaq ProLiant 2500 (2 proc.)
Operating system: Linux (Debian 3.1 distribution)

Re: Clear the Event log entry (shown in Integrated Management Display)

If you are running the HP Management Agentso n the server, you shold be able to browse into them at http://servername:2301 and clear the IML through one of the interfaces in the web console.

Not sure if Linux has the same web access to the Management Agents, but I think it does if installed.

Another way might be through the RBSU setup.

For Steven Clementi.
Your solution is quite good, but unfortunatly the HP Management Agents that I found on HP support page is not for my version of kernel (which is 2.4.46-1-686-smp). Thanx anyway...

Re: Clear the Event log entry (shown in Integrated Management Display)

My kernel is 2.4.26-1-686-smp not 2.4.46-1-686-smp as is written in the above post of mine...
