Clone raid array for Proliant DL360
I need to clone two 36GB disk in raid 1 to two 72GB raid 1. What procedure will work? This is a Microsoft Windows 2003 server, can it be clone to a bigger array?

Hi David,
Are the 2 x 36GB hdd's configured in Raid 1, if yes you may remove one hdd and install one 72GB hdd once the rebuild is complete add another 72GB hdd then go to Array Configuration Utility and Extend the logical drive..
It is recommended that you BACKUP data and FYI im not sure if HP supports this, them may recommend to backup data, delete and create a new array..

yes HP supports that I mean that is an expand array process, replaced old HDD with new ones follow previuos steps from "Resolution Gauranteed "
but It is also highly recommendable to update the firmwware for your controller before do this process
