Clustering with Compaq DL-380 G1 and Storage Array

I'm trying to configure a windows 2003 cluster on 2 compaq's DL-380 G1 and one Compaq storage array. My question is how do I physically connect the 2 DL-380's to the storage array? My current setup is both servers are connected to the storage array via SCSI connections. I cannot view the storage array. am I doing something wrong? what are the steps to hook up an Active/Active Cluster with my current hardware?

Is the storage box a Smart Array Cluster Storage?? One of the newer ones?

No it is an older model. Also I'm using the Smart Array controller 3200.

Hi David,

as Vijay implies, you would need a cluster-capable storage box. Most Compaq storage boxes cannot do this. What storage box do you have? And a Smart Array 3200 cannot be used for clustering, either. My guess is you have a shelf with has a split SCSI bus, not a shared one.

OK, then you can't use it for clustering.
