Compaq Gigabit 3164 on proliant 2500
I??ve instaled a Compaq Gigabit NIC 3164 on a Proliant 2500 on slot 5 and the nic isn??t detected in the Compaq Insight Manager and because of that I load the driver, it reports that the controler isn??t present.
The server has the most recent bios.
There is any problems reported?
The server is running netware 5.1

Re: Compaq Gigabit 3164 on proliant 2500
Hello;
After intalling the NIC, you'll want to run the System Configuration Utility at F10 on bootup to allow the server BIOS to recognize the card and assign resources to it.
Once this is done, you should be able to load N100.lan in NetWare.
Sincerely,
Janine Bertolo
