Compaq ML 370 - 1783 POST error
I have a ML 370 server which gives me 1783 Slot 6 Array Controller Failure on POST. I have tried reseating the card and also tried it in a different slot.
Then I replaced the card with one I had in a server not in use. The same error persisted, I then got on to Compaq support and they suggested to flash the ROM on the card, I did and the flash was successful.
I then rebooted the server and got the same error message again. This leads me to think that it may not be the card that has failed.
Would anyone have any other suggestions as to how to resolve this issue?

Re: Compaq ML 370 - 1783 POST error
Which Smart Array Controller is this.
In case the controller has a cache the error may be associated to the cache/Array Accelarator.
