Compaq Proliant 1600

I have a proliant 1600 that start for about a half a second, I can hear the fans and see the power light, and then it turns off. The Server will repeat the process again in about 3-4 seconds later. I have removed all the connections to the motherboard and power supply which does not help. Has anyone run into this or have a tip/trick to figure out if it is the board or power supply? Thanks in advance!!

Hi James,

Try reseating all the components on the system board like the voltage regulator board, memory board, memory modules, PCI cards(if any).

Thanks for the tip Ramesh, it did not help the problem. do you have anything else I can try?
